The atmosphere (atm) is a unit of pressure equal to approximately the average atmospheric pressure at sea level on Earth. It is a traditional unit, but not the primary unit in the International System of Units (SI). One atm is defined as exactly 101,325 pascals (Pa), which is the SI unit of pressure.
