LHR – Linearity, Hysteresis and Repeatability

LHR (Linearity, Hysteresis, and Repeatability) combines three key metrics to characterize a pressure sensor’s performance at room temperature:

  • Linearity, Hysteresis, Repeatability: These terms assess how closely the sensor’s output (voltage, current) reflects the applied pressure and its consistency across measurements. A perfect sensor exhibits a perfectly linear relationship between pressure and output (linearity), with no difference in output when pressure is increased or decreased (hysteresis), and always produces the same output for a given pressure (repeatability).
