Specific Gravity-SG

Specific gravity (SG) is a dimensionless ratio of the density of a substance to the density of a reference substance. In the context of pressure measurement, it’s often used to compare the density of a fluid to that of water at a specific temperature (usually 4°C). This value is crucial for calculating hydrostatic pressure, which is fundamental to many pressure measurement instruments.
