Square Root Extraction-SRE

Square root extraction is a mathematical process applied to a linear measurement scale to convert it to a non-linear square root scale. In pressure measurement, it’s primarily used to derive flow rate from differential pressure, as flow rate is proportional to the square root of differential pressure.
