Capacitive Pressure Sensor-CPS

A capacitive pressure sensor is a type of transducer that measures pressure by detecting changes in capacitance. Capacitance is the ability of a capacitor to store electric charge. In a CPS, the pressure being measured alters the distance between two conductive plates within the sensor, which in turn changes the capacitance. This change in capacitance can then be converted into an electrical signal that corresponds to the applied pressure.
