Gauge Reference Pressure (g)

Gauge pressure (g) refers to the pressure measured relative to the ambient pressure surrounding the system. In simpler terms, it’s the pressure exerted by a fluid above the atmospheric pressure. A pressure gauge typically reads in gauge pressure. It doesn’t account for the constant pressure exerted by the atmosphere (around 14.7 psi at sea level).
