Vacuum
A vacuum is a space devoid of matter, specifically gas particles. In the context of pressure measurement, it refers to a region where the gas pressure is significantly lower than atmospheric pressure. It’s a relative term, as a perfect vacuum (containing absolutely no particles) is theoretically impossible to achieve.
