Vented Gauge Reference Pressure (VG)

Vented Gauge Reference Pressure (VG) is a type of pressure measurement where the pressure is measured relative to atmospheric pressure. This is achieved by exposing the negative side of the pressure sensing diaphragm to ambient air through a vented path. As a result, the pressure sensor will indicate zero when exposed to atmospheric pressure, regardless of altitude or weather conditions.
